Jake Allen is getting closer to a return but he will not play this weekend. Andrew Hammond has a lower-body injury and will be re-evaluated by doctors. Joel Edmundson will make his season debut on Saturday night against the Kraken. Carey Price skated Saturday and is making significant progress in his rehab.

Habs prospect report - Defenseman Otto Leskinen signed with Tappara Tampere of the Finnish Liiga for the rest of the season. Cole Caufield was named the Molson Cup recipient for February. Guy Lafleur has been named to the Order of Hockey as a Distinguished Honoree for 2022.
